In-process & quality inspection criteria armoured glass product line

The following table lists the in-process and final inspection steps of the armoured glass being manufactured.
Each of these steps corresponds to a functionnality of the glass.

· Visual inspection of all common defects from glass (scratches, edge finish, black print…) and laminates (pollution, air bubbles, polycarbonate inclusions….)
· Visual inspection of the edge finish and the mounting systems (gaskets, holders…) if any

GEOMETRY
· Verification of shape/outer glass ply dimensions/offset dimensions/angles
· Verification of the mounting systems (gaskets, holders…) if any
- 3D inspection molds

BALLISTICS
· Verification of ballistic performance on glass samples according to the applicable ballistic standard - Shooting test facility
- Ballistic test report
HEATING / ELECTRICAL DEVICES
· Measuring of heating performance
· Verification of functionnality of antennas
- Stabilized power supply
- Ohmeter
- In Process and Final inspection report
OPTICAL DISTORSION
· Measuring of optical distorsion of glass at the installation angle - Daylight inspection
- Zebra test - DIN ISO 52305
- Double image
- Final inspection report
PACKAGING
· Verification of packaging conformance to the applicable specification
· Verification of packaging ID
- In-process documentation and procedure
TRACABILITY
· Verification of all in-process documentation and inspection reports - In-process documentation
